Road resolved and repaired

Residents living on Avondale Road can breathe a sigh of relief now that the road has been repaired. It was excavated by Umgeni Water to repair the pipe from the Avondale Reservoir to Ballito. “A delay occurred in the repair of the road due to discussion over whose responsibility it was to repair the road,” said Umgeni Water’s corporate stakeholder manager Shami Harichunder. Umgeni agreed to repair the road and a contractor was appointed to do so.
