Privacy policy

  1. Wordsmiths (Pty) Ltd  (“Wordsmiths”) and/or its licensors know and respect that you care how information about you is used and shared. We appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly.
  2. By registering on Wordsmiths website, you are accepting the conditions and practices described.
  3. Wordsmiths is the proprietor of a program (and intellectual property thereto) known as the Site in the Republic of South Africa.

  7. Some information collected is not explicitly submitted by the user as Wordsmiths logs your browser-type related information, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp.
  8. How Wordsmiths Uses Your Information
    1. Wordsmiths may use your email address to send you updates or news regarding the Site, but you may choose not to receive email of this type.
    2. Browser-type related information, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp data help Wordsmiths diagnose problems with the Site server, administer the Site, and otherwise provide the highest possible level of service to you. Wordsmiths may also use this information to perform statistical analysis of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on, their advertising banners.
